Christmas at Our House

A big thanks to BooMama for hosting this Christmas Tour of Homes!
It sure is fun visiting everyone's houses and getting great ideas and finding great new blogs to read. Thank you for taking a moment to stop by my blog today! I was going around the house last night taking pictures, and I have to say that having a good camera does not necessarily mean you will have good pictures. Something to do with the operator of the camera, it helps if they know how to use it! That said, I do not have a tripod and trying to take night pictures of Christmas lights can be tricky.

Come on in and have a look around:

A night picture of the outside without the flash:

And with the flash:

The front porch, ring the doorbell and hear a Christmas jingle, courtesy of NuTone:

We wrapped lighted garlands around the stair rails:

This is my little white "Mom" tree in the dining room, this year we made it a candy cane theme:

Under the tree:

The dining room from a different angle:

(don't mind the packages on the floor!)

The tree in the parlor, decorated by the kids:

Pinnochio came all the way from Italy!

The mantle in the living room (stockings can't hang with the fire going, for safety reasons!):

The deck off the living room:

The nativity set we used since I was little:

The nativity set, on the kitchen counter, under the Jesse Tree:

What's Christmas without glitter?

The Ponyville Advent Calendar:

A pretty angel:

Doesn't that sibling love warm your heart?

Thanks for stopping by!
